After a career as a professional musician Dolan moved into events beginning with the famous Northern Quarter Street Festivals in 1998 working on many of the leading events in the North West as a production manager as well as setting up his own company CDH Creatives.

During this time Dolan was also Director of GMMAZ (Greater Manchester Music Action Zone) leading it from its inception to its current status as one of the most innovative organisations in its sector.

Dolan moved to Ear to the Ground in 2011 he is currently the Projects and Personnel Director leading the agency side of the business working on the delivery, efficiencies and resourcing.
